Introducing the Artist

My name is Talya and I'm a 24 year old part-time artist based in Essex, England. Ever since I've known, I've absolutely loved doing Art as both a hobby and creative outlet. I have always especially enjoyed producing portrait drawings, with my family members often being the subjects of my work (sometimes to their dismay!).

 

That was until I took on my first commission piece just under a year ago now. Since then, I have completed multiple pieces - mainly child portraits - and I've loved every minute. Whether it be a Birthday present, a Christmas present, or even just because, it's an honour to be able to bring your vision and family to life.

I love to be creative and experiment with different materials but more recently my style has been defined by the use of black biro on white cartridge paper to best create texture and character in the human face.
